Call of duty or CoD – what has this popular PlayStation3 game have to do with Asian soccer star?
A lot if you ask me.
You see, at every training session you will always find kids talking about how far they are progressing with this popular PlayStation3 game.
So what better way to get the message across to kids looking to become an Asian soccer star than to show them how progression in one can lead to progression in other.
The fact is that both involve a great deal of focus and mental awareness to succeed. In other words, both involve having to keep challenging yourself to do better.
That's what kids do when they play video games like 'call of duty' or CoD as many refer to the game.
They get hooked on the game because they always want to beat their last score, they inadvertently set themselves a goal.
And by giving yourself a "score" or 'goal' to beat every time you are at football training, the competitive streak deep within you will come to the surface and you'll work harder and more consistently.
Making it fun and goal orientated is what it's all about. That's why next time you go to football training or are working out by yourself remember to keep a log of how well you did in the last session and set out to beat that 'score'.
Before long you will begin to see results in your football like your progression in 'call of duty'.
