Asian soccer star, London – How many of you have heard the expression “stop working hard and star working smart?” I’m sure many readers of AsianSoccerStar.com can confidently put their hands up and say “Yes”.
And I bet many of the same readers of AsianSoccerStar.com would scratch their heads and wonder how to put this valuable advice into practice with regards to their footballing dreams.
You see, this is great advice but no one really tells you “how” to work smart.
Let’s change that.
But before that, let me clarify that you still need to “work hard” but only on the right things.
“Working smart” is all about knowing the right things to do at the right time so that you get more back from every minute of effort spent. It’s about quality over quantity.
Think about it.
You could be training hard, working your tail off and if you’re doing the wrong things or even the right things the wrong way you’d have very little to show for it and probably be prone to over-training injuries.
“Working smart” with regards to playing professional or even semi-professional football means taking a holistic view of football and the player. It’s about knowing about the physiological effects of football conditioning; about mental toughness; about nutrition; about the importance of recovery; about technical ability and about tactical skill and development.
The above list only covers the tip of the iceberg. “Working smart” requires commitment, determination and desire to learn how the professional do it.
At AsianSoccerStar.com you will learn, through our experience, to achieve amazing results in all of the important areas of football. And then we’ll go beyond that and show you how to give yourself the best chance to becoming a professional footballer, if you so desire.
But not only through hard work, through “smart work”.
