But I also know from my son's experience that once kids have been exposed to a higher level of the game and train at that level their mindset is completely different. It's not about gadgets and props but about commitment and hard work. My son didn't make it through last year because he was way to small even though he came in the top 3 for the speed tests. He's had a growth spurt and is stronger and has a more physical presence. He's also faster and more agile so just needs a chance to showcase his ability.
